Boys US Soccer Development Academy – U12 (9v9), U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U19 Boys (11 v 11)

Development Academy teams are based in our Conshohocken facility.

The U.S. Soccer Development Academy is a program that provides education, resources and support to impact everyday club environments that will develop world-class players. Ten month and approximately 30 game season, U12 and U13 teams train 3x/week while U14-U19 teams train 4x/week minimum. The only youth soccer league controlled by US Soccer. 60 percent of league games are attended by a National Team scout. Highest level available to a youth male soccer player in the United States.

Boys ECNL – U12 Pre-ECNL (9v9) U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U18/U19 (11 v 11)

Boys 13-U19 ECNL teams are based in our Conshohocken facility.
Boys U12 Pre-ECNL team trains out of Conshohocken and Downingtown facilities.

2018-19 will be the second season for the Boys Elite Clubs National League (Boys ECNL) which was founded to improve the daily environment for boys youth soccer players through a collaborative club-based development program featuring competition, player identification, coaching and club development platforms. The Boys ECNL will include both regular season conference games and cross-conference events, and qualifying teams from the Boys ECNL will advance to the post-season Elite National Premier League (ENPL) Playoffs. Teams will train a minimum of 3 times a week and play a minimum of 30 games a season. Regional based league with 3 national showcase events. The team schedule is designed to support and enhance the scholastic athlete’s experience.

  • U13 ECNL (2006 birth year)
  • U14 ECNL (2005 birth year)
  • U15 ECNL (2004 birth year)
  • U16 ECNL (2003 birth year)
  • U17 ECNL (2002 birth year)
  • U18/U19 ECNL (2000/2001 birth years)

USYS (Downingtown) –  U8 to U19  Boys (2011-2000 Birth Years)
Continental FC will field multiple teams in an age group with the final number of teams determined by the depth of interest and talent at tryouts. All teams - Barca (Elite), Arsenal (B) and Celtic (C) - will play a developmentally appropriate schedule. Teams will compete in appropriate level leagues, tournaments and State Cup competitions.

US Youth Soccer dictates the size of teams in different age groups. CFC maintains a roster size at each level of play that allows for maximum playing time and touches on the ball (ie development) for younger players. Current game and roster sizes by age group are as follows:

  • U8 to U10:  7v7 (roster 10-12 players)
  • U11 to U12:  9v9 (roster 12-14 players)
  • U13 to U19:  11v11 (roster 16-18 players)

USYS (Conshohocken) – U8 to U19 Boys (2011-2000 Birth Years)
